01 How to reach a person

Tell us what the screen shows. A photo of the television is more useful than a description, and there is no account or order number to look up.

02 Common fixes

• The screen says the calendar address is broken. Copy the secret iCal address from Google Calendar again. Resetting the address in Google invalidates the old one, and that is the usual cause.
• Today looks empty but the week has events.That is the app telling you the truth. There is nothing on today’s calendar.
• A repeating event is missing. The app counts repeating series it cannot read and shows that count rather than hiding it. Tell us which event and we will look at the rule.
• The calendar looks out of date. The app re-reads the feed on its own. Google can take a while to publish a change to the secret address, so a new event may not appear immediately.
• You want to start over. Clear the calendar address in Settings, then paste a new one.

03 Setting it up

Kitchen Calendar needs one thing: the secret iCal address of a Google Calendar you already control. In Google Calendar, open the settings for that calendar, find the secret address in iCal format, and copy it. Then open Settings inside Kitchen Calendar on the Apple TV and paste it in.

The app ships with a sample calendar so you can see how it looks before connecting anything of your own. The sample makes no network request.

04 Clearing your data

• Clear the calendar address in Settings to remove it from the Keychain.
• Or delete the app. tvOS removes its stored data with it.
• Or reset the secret address in Google Calendar, which stops the old address from working anywhere.

KRT LLC never receives your calendar, so there is nothing to delete on our side.

05 Privacy and terms

The privacy policy explains what the app reads and what KRT LLC can see, which is nothing. Kitchen Calendar uses Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
